Adaptive speed control (ASC) allows boaters to maintain engine speed (rpm) regardless of load or condition changes – such tight turns and lower speeds on plane – without having to frequently adjust the throttle position, a first ! Coupled with Top Cowl Service Door for easy and simple oil checks and oil fills, just pop open the new watertight door for access to the dipstick.

This engine also has low oil pressure and over-rev operator warning system, and a water cooled thermostat.
